The vision of Forest City Christian School is to educate future generations to think critically, to know the truth, and to be Christ-like.
To think critically: The ability to analyze information and test everything against God's Word, thereby knowing the truth.
To know the truth: The ability to apply God's Word in everyday life and relationships, thereby becoming Christ-like.
To be Christ-like: The ability to apply Biblical values shown through Christ's example.
The mission of Forest City Christian School is to partner with the home and church to provide an academic education within a Christian context to effectively prepare students for life.
Philosophy of Education
From preschool through high school, programs are designed to train and develop a student's mind, body and spirit, leading them to fulfill God's plan for their lives.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 states that "a cord of three strands is not easily broken." We believe education is a three-stranded cord-home, church, and school. In partnership with the home and church, FCCS endeavors to build character and spiritual strength in children. The three-stranded cord gently leads the student into a life devoted to the Lord and the path He has planned.
The ultimate goal of FCCS is to develop a mature disciple of Jesus Christ by knowing Jesus as Savior, by being continually transformed into the image of Christ, and by being fully equipped to serve Christ in everyday life.
