Infant Room 10 Months- 17 Months (approx)
The children in the infant room are ages 10 months- 17 months old. They are developing at different rates each and every day. Our providers in this room are equipping the children with tools and lifelong skills, even if it is a simple skill. The providers are transitioning the children after they turn 12 months old to a naptime routine as well as on a feeding schedule. Children after the age of 1 do not need to be in a crib and having them transition from crib to cot in their classroom, helps them transition to a toddler bed at home. Our providers are caring for each child’s individual needs throughout the day, while teaching them skills that they will use throughout their childhood. As they develop our providers incorporate baby sign language in their everyday routine to help them express what they need/want. Baby sign language is continued throughout their early childhood education.
